This is the last post to A New Hampshire Journal. March 4 we packed the RV and followed our movers south towards a new home on eastern Long Island, NY – not so much “new” to us, as we spent 17 years there before retiring in 2012 and moving north, first to ME and then to the NH Lakes region. It has been great, but we are ready for something easier – a retirement community on Long Island. So with thanks and great memories of our NH “lakeside home,” we bid you farewell! Maybe there will be a new “Island blog” in the future. But here it’s almost Spring already, and leaving the NH snows was not too hard!
What? You’re not going to miss this storm coming through on Tuesday set to drop a foot plus of snow? I just don’t understand it. 🙂 I think there should definitely be an Island Blog or Island Journal in your future. Either way, it has been nice exchanging comments with you, and I wish you and yours all the best on your new adventure. Take care. 🙂

Hope your relocating has gone well. I was writing a reply to your kind comment, but somehow it disappeared completely. Must have accidentally hit delete. Anyway, thank you for keeping in touch and following my blog. I’m enjoying the beautiful, sunny weather. Have a lovely day 🙂

Erica, thank you. Our move has gone well and we are settling in, enjoying the mild weather of Long Island, NY. I started a new blog called Long Islanders. I am glad to hear your enjoyment of your Spring and the welcome sunlight. We lived in north Jutland for a few years and always found Spring very welcome!
